Josh Bartch

Josh Bartch is an experienced investor, entrepreneur, and consultant with over 15 years working in global capital markets. He has founded several ventures and led transactions exceeding one billion dollars in value. His work centers on structuring, financing, mergers and acquisitions, reverse mergers, and overall business development. He is the CEO of MavDB Consulting, LLC, and also the founder of Blackstone Mercantile Group.

Josh started his first business while attending Colorado State University and successfully sold it. In 2007, he co-founded a digital transcription platform that provided services to clients across various industries, including legal, medical, academic, and business sectors. In 2011, he founded a private investment and advisory firm specializing in early-stage and growth companies across various industries, including technology, consumer products, and finance.

In 2020, Josh moved to Puerto Rico and established MavDB Consulting, LLC. The firm offers strategic corporate advisory services with a focus on capital markets, investor relations, and cross-border listings. As CEO, he works directly with executive teams and boards to prepare companies for uplisting and expansion. His approach involves identifying a company’s strengths and developing tailored plans to enhance visibility, access to funding, and global growth.

In 2024, Josh launched Blackstone Mercantile Group Ltd SAC, a smart fund based in the Bahamas. The fund operates under the Smart Fund regime and is built for sophisticated investors seeking exposure to global opportunities. It employs data-driven strategies and emphasizes robust risk management while maintaining compliance with financial standards.

Throughout his career, Josh has played a key role in structuring public company financings and international listings. His understanding of regulatory systems and market dynamics helps guide companies through complex transactions, enabling them to navigate these challenges effectively.

Josh supports several charitable causes, including education in Africa, veteran and first responder programs, and youth initiatives in Puerto Rico. He also contributed to local hurricane relief efforts. Outside of work, he enjoys golf and travel, both of which provide valuable personal and professional insight.

Josh Bartch lives in Puerto Rico with his 9-year-old son, Maverick, and continues to contribute to public markets as a trusted advisor and investor.
